Cindy Leparski MA, LCPC

I have 20 years of experience providing compassionate counseling to individuals, families, and children (ages 2-12 years). I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who believes in a strength-based practical approach. My counseling focuses on improving present life circumstances and setting realistic goals for the future. My specialties include: enhancing family relationships, improving self esteem, parenting education, behavior management, premarital counseling, helping families that have children with disabilities, as well as dealing with divorce issues. My therapy style utilizes techniques based on a Cognitive-Behavioral therapy approach. I expect clients to be active participants in the therapy process and value their insights. I offer the flexibility of working with families at my office, in their homes or out in the community depending on the circumstances.

I have a Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University in Family Studies and a Master’s degree from Roosevelt University in Counseling and Human Services. I have accumulated 12 post graduate hours from Northeastern Illinois University in Family and Marital Counseling. I am a credentialed private provider in the State of Illinois’ Early Intervention therapy program and am a member of the Illinois Counseling Association.

I am a provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and Aetna insurance companies.
